Welcome to the HCL Connections Product Ideas Lab! The place where you can submit product ideas and enhancement request. We encourage you to participate by voting on, commenting on, and creating new ideas. All new ideas will be evaluated by the HCL Product Management & Engineering teams, and the next steps will be communicated. While not all submitted ideas will be executed upon, community feedback will play a key role in influencing which ideas are and when they will be implemented.

    Push status updates from ConNext into Teams chat.

    If the user could push status updates from ConNext directly into Teams chat, a discussion / conversation with a defined target group could be initiated (inform / initiate further actions or exxchange).

    Publish an update in Connections and MS Teams simultaneously

    It would be great if the user could publish updates across multiple channels at the same time, e.g. on Connections and MS Teams. The user would save time and energy if he had to create an update only once.

    Update prerequisits of Python 2.7 for Docs

    Docs Installer needs Python 2.7 which is eol since over an year now and this was already announced 6 years ago! When can we expect an update to an uptodate version of Python?

    Let me choose the audience when posting a status update from the Activity Stream

    Within the mobile app I can choose the target audience of a status update directly when posting it. In the web UI I have to first open the Community and post it there.

    We noticed that the funcion "Code Sample .." in TinyMCE is missing for Forums when creating Forum Topics. We would appriciate to add this function also there.

    The "password reset" feature should also work for internal users

    The ability to reset a password from the login page should also work for internal users and not only for external/guest users. Currently it does sort of work, but internal users get an error when they did change their password

    Make the engagement center and Tiny Editors part of the standard Connections that installs with everything else.

    There are too many add-ons and third party tools making connections difficult to install, update, and migrate. Please consolidate all pieces owned my HCL in order to make the administration and maintenance less difficult.
