Welcome to the HCL Connections Product Ideas Lab! The place where you can submit product ideas and enhancement request. We encourage you to participate by voting on, commenting on, and creating new ideas. All new ideas will be evaluated by the HCL Product Management & Engineering teams, and the next steps will be communicated. While not all submitted ideas will be executed upon, community feedback will play a key role in influencing which ideas are and when they will be implemented.

    Performance improvements on .docx documents with large tables

    When a Word (.docx) document has large tables with many rows and columns that cross pages performance slows down. Namely, when typing within the document there is a delay before the characters show up within the document.

    Connections Docs Editor, an user has the option "Share" as well ... as button or at "File > Share".

    Enhancement: respondents for Community Survey need to check own response.

    Respondents are able to check the summary of Survey if "Who can view results - All community users" is enabled. However, there is no way to check what is the own response.

    ICEC Files Widget Sorting asc dsc

    The Files Widget can be sorted by Filename, Date,.... but it´s not possible to select ascending or descending. There should be an option for it.

    Our users would like to place an app on the community's overview page, so that the latest actions within the community are visible at first sight when entering the community.

    Editing a spreadsheet at the same time in the files app of a community

    It should be pretty straight forward but for some reason I don't see this working. Once you upload an excel spreadsheet to a community I can open it inside of Connections and it highlights the cell I am selecting in blue. Now I would imagine that ...

    Give ConNext Admins the ability to start some kind of Competition about the best community pages of the company. Winners can get some kind of appreciation and others can learn how to enhance their communities.
