Welcome to the HCL Connections Product Ideas Lab! The place where you can submit product ideas and enhancement request. We encourage you to participate by voting on, commenting on, and creating new ideas. All new ideas will be evaluated by the HCL Product Management & Engineering teams, and the next steps will be communicated. While not all submitted ideas will be executed upon, community feedback will play a key role in influencing which ideas are and when they will be implemented.

    Remove Navigation bar on bottom of ICEC Pages on Mobile

    If you are using ICEC on Mobile, there is always a grey navigation bar on the bottom of the page, which is taking up a lot of space. This navigation is not needed and should be removed.

    Ability to see all folders in the Connections UI folders view display (left side panel)

    When using the IBM Connections Web UI folders view display on the left side, (see screenshot) only limited with only 100 folders shown, there is no function to extend this view. The customer would like to be able to show/see all folders.

    Ability to increase attachment file upload size limitation on a user by user basis rather than across the board

    We wish to increase the file upload size to selected users, not for all users. This file size limitation should be configurable for users given the PROF GUID or PROF UUID.

    Turn on Groups in Cloud

    When working with Communities its really lacking support for groups. Its easier to maintain access rights to Communities in stead of adding/removing one person in multiple communities. That way we could also have Administrator groups

    Movie or Presentation in "About Me"

    I would love to have an ability to upload a short movie (.mp4) or pictures in the "About Me" section. In the present time, people are way more interested in clips and pictures than in a standard text.

    Add ICEC during user registration

    Customer would like to have the option to add ICEC during user registration. Now he doesn't see this option, and he has to create the user and then edit add ICEC after registration
