Welcome to the HCL Connections Product Ideas Lab! The place where you can submit product ideas and enhancement request.     Integration of other web chat clients like Skype for Business

    Currently, only Sametime version 9 can be integrated into HCL Connections. It would be fantastic if you could also integrate other web chat clients in Connections with presence display. Examples would be Skype for Business, Rocketchat.

    Connections search shall not be exact

    ConNext search shall support partial match — not requires to use wildcards. Moreover current wildcard search does not support special characters. (bug) .

    TDI/SDI 7.2 should be added to Connections 6.0 future releases as TDI 7.1.1 has gone out of support.

    Possibility to save interesting update/event in Orient Me like on old homepage

    On the old homepage it was possible to save an interesting status update or any other event within the activity stream in order to read it later or to just bookmark it for further reference. As a user I want to have the same possibility in Orient Me.

    No spell checker available in Orient Me while writing a status update

    As a user I want to have a spell checker available while I write a status update in Orient Me. This could be for sure just the browser embedded spell checker.

    Add functionality to follow or search tags in Orient-Me

    It is not possible to follow tags anymore. Also, tags are not clickable and searchable.

    Allow to discover new content that you are not following already

    With Orient me, the filter criterias have changed from to only people communities and tags. Filtering for additional services is not possible any longer.

    Add user by one klick to requested community via notification email

    Within the new notification email there is some missing functionality. With the old notification you are able to add a user to the requested community by one klick in the email. Now there is only the "open" button which opens the community. After ...
