Welcome to the HCL Connections Product Ideas Lab! The place where you can submit product ideas and enhancement request. We encourage you to participate by voting on, commenting on, and creating new ideas. All new ideas will be evaluated by the HCL Product Management & Engineering teams, and the next steps will be communicated. While not all submitted ideas will be executed upon, community feedback will play a key role in influencing which ideas are and when they will be implemented.

    File Sync not working for Community Files in Desktop Plug-in

    File Sync for communities is currently not supported. Only Personal Files are supported by Sync.Client has requested that an enhancement request be made to allow for Syncing of Community files

    Make File Folders searchable

    Users cannot search for folder names in the current releases. Make these searchable.

    Ability to hide the 'My Drive' option under 'Files'

    We want to have the option to hide the 'My Drive' option under 'Files' if they wanted to as they are not currently using the functionality and it appears to be causing confusion for their users.

    Upload size of files

    Currently only a maximum of 2GB Supported. Please set the value to 5GB support. I know that you can change the value of the config.xml. However, this sometimes leads to errors because more than 2GB are not supported.

    Allow users in org-admin role on communities application to see all communities in UI

    Make community surveys visible to non-members in public communities.

    A public community is accesible by every member. Even files, libraries, wikis etc. of this community are accesible, except Community-Surveys. This should be accessible without being a member of a public community.
