Track usage of Shared Link for files

When sharing a file via link you cannot see how many people have taken advantage of it and, if authenticated, who has downloaded / viewed the file in question. This is important for two reasons: 1) audibility and 2) measurement of success.

    This is a good idea it would also be good to see who downloaded a file in general so not just from the Share link but any download activity not just for clarity of viewing but for security as well.

    Totally agree! If a person opens a link through the share link feature that view should be listed in the Info tab under views just like any other view of a file. That option to see 9and be able to proof) that someone had access to the file makes it one of the strongest parts of IBM Connections and the Share Link option as it is implemented currently totally undermines it as it is completely unclear who viewed the file through the share link links
