Updated Themes for Blogs

Is it possible to update the current themes for blogs? Right now it is almost impossible to tell different blog post from each other. Meaning where does the old post end and where does the new one start. There could be different solutions.

One example can be to separate each post in a box like in the example below. Or to have a date bubble next to each post. or the headline bigger and in another color then the normal text.

    Did Visual Update 1 (Periscope) address this need?  With Periscope, the blog entries should each be in their own box.
