HCL Connections Ideas Portal

Welcome to the HCL Connections Product Ideas Lab! The place where you can submit product ideas and enhancement request. We encourage you to participate by voting on, commenting on, and creating new ideas. All new ideas will be evaluated by the HCL Product Management & Engineering teams, and the next steps will be communicated. While not all submitted ideas will be executed upon, community feedback will play a key role in influencing which ideas are and when they will be implemented.

For more information and upcoming events, please visit our HCL Connections page.

Table of contents (TOC) macro does not display H1s in the table of content in Wiki

When we apply the Heading1 for TOC , it is not recognized. The Heading1 text is taken as normal text and not as a link under TOC

Wouldn't that be a low hanging fruit for HCL to fix in Wikis and therefore close an enhancement request? Yes, there is a customization which should resolve the issue, maybe many customers have implemented it already on their own. But what was the intention by the developer to start with 2nd level of heading and ignore H1 ?

The default, the configuration of  the ToC macro includes H2. H3 and H4. To include H1 and H5 you can configure/customize the ToC macro as described by Christoph Stöttner in his blog (https://stoeps.de/activate-customize-table-of-contents-macro-in-ibm-connections-wiki/).
