Connections 6.0 files upload restriction based on user's IP address?

We have IBM Connections 6.0 with latest CR3 on windows OS. We have not published to internet users yet.

As of now we used Connections for only internal users for files and profiles features in Connections. We are having requirement that we need to publish it to internet however there should be restriction on internet like IP based restriction and Files upload restriction for external / internet users.

There should not be any differentiation in users restriction based on internet or internal users, but there should be IP based restriction like if anyone upload from internet IPs then they should not get rights to upload files or edit documents.

I hope you understand my requirement. Please share you inputs. Thanks in advance.

    while we can restrict access to Connections in general based on an IP adress range, we are not planning to restrict individual features like file-upload based on IP address range.
