HCL Connections Ideas Portal

Welcome to the HCL Connections Product Ideas Lab! The place where you can submit product ideas and enhancement request. We encourage you to participate by voting on, commenting on, and creating new ideas. All new ideas will be evaluated by the HCL Product Management & Engineering teams, and the next steps will be communicated. While not all submitted ideas will be executed upon, community feedback will play a key role in influencing which ideas are and when they will be implemented.

For more information and upcoming events, please visit our HCL Connections page.

Expiration Date for Wikis and Files

We miss the function of setting an expiration date. That's very useful. Especially if a document or a wiki is out of date you will be notified by e-mail that you have to create a more recent version. Great NEED with us!

I agree, our instiution misses the same feature. It ist essential with regard to quality assurance. Building a wiki is one thing, maintaining it is another. The latter ensures success.

The customer is greatly missing this feature in connections which they have already shared with HCL over the email.

This is a really good idea. Would be nice if it would be integrated in the next Releases. #BigNeed

The possibility to put a tick "Expiration Date", then the possibility to enter a date. On the day the document or wiki expires, an email is sent to the community's owners. If the date is not raised again, the wiki or document will be archived. I find this feature more than practical. With us would be a huge need! Please integrate it in the following updates.
