HCL Connections Ideas Portal

Welcome to the HCL Connections Product Ideas Lab! The place where you can submit product ideas and enhancement request. We encourage you to participate by voting on, commenting on, and creating new ideas. All new ideas will be evaluated by the HCL Product Management & Engineering teams, and the next steps will be communicated. While not all submitted ideas will be executed upon, community feedback will play a key role in influencing which ideas are and when they will be implemented.

For more information and upcoming events, please visit our HCL Connections page.

Make lazy loading/infinite scrolling functionality consistent in all components (orient me and community catalog)

For me as a user it is not understandable, why the lazy loading/infinite scrolling functionality is implemented differently in different components. It should look and behave the same in all components.

For example the back to top button is in the middle on the top of orient me and has text in it, in the community catalog it is an icon on the bottom right. When you scroll down in orient me, three little dots are coming up, which are indicating that there is more content being loaded. In the community catalog only 10 communities are shown and the two empty spots look like as there are no other communities to be shown in this view. The user does not directly know that scrolling down will show more content. And there is also no "loading" hint/indicator.

Please change this and make both pages behave the same. And please if you are changing additional pages don't introduce a third variation of infinite scrolling!
