Welcome to the HCL Connections Product Ideas Lab! The place where you can submit product ideas and enhancement request. We encourage you to participate by voting on, commenting on, and creating new ideas. All new ideas will be evaluated by the HCL Product Management & Engineering teams, and the next steps will be communicated. While not all submitted ideas will be executed upon, community feedback will play a key role in influencing which ideas are and when they will be implemented.

Add an Action Required or To Do list overview to the Orient Me homepage

In the Classic homepage a user had an overview of all tasks that required an action by him/her. This was the Action Required view. Seperately there was a widget on the homepage that showed your personal To Do List from tasks assigned to you in activities. In the new OrientMe view, both are completely missing. So there is no way of knowing what tasks require action without first having to go to the respective pages. Why not add a view or list for that apart from the @mentions and Responses views?

While not changing the Orient Me view to implement this request, we changed the Homepage view with Connections so that users can easily use the right version of the homepage that gives them what they need. Whereas before selecting Orient Me vs the traditional homepage was not something users would do on a regular basis, now per design it is easy to pick the right view for the moment.

@rene, please also include the Unfollow option you had on the old homepage. This was crucial to keeping your updates relevant. See idea: https://connections-ideas.hcltechsw.com/ideas/IDEACNCTNS-I-461

With the next version of Connections we are planning to enhance the homepage and bring back some of the "old" features.
