Welcome to the HCL Connections Product Ideas Lab! The place where you can submit product ideas and enhancement request. We encourage you to participate by voting on, commenting on, and creating new ideas. All new ideas will be evaluated by the HCL Product Management & Engineering teams, and the next steps will be communicated. While not all submitted ideas will be executed upon, community feedback will play a key role in influencing which ideas are and when they will be implemented.

While this sounds easy to do and logical, the truth is that Connections folders are designed differently from the ground up compared to folders on a file system.
Connections folders are a collection of references to files that could exist anywhere, e.g. they could be owned by other users and only be shared with the current folder you are looking at.
That is why the changing of ownership of the entire folder including the referenced files within is not possible or at least doable in a way that users will easily understand.
