HCL Connections Ideas Portal

Welcome to the HCL Connections Product Ideas Lab! The place where you can submit product ideas and enhancement request. We encourage you to participate by voting on, commenting on, and creating new ideas. All new ideas will be evaluated by the HCL Product Management & Engineering teams, and the next steps will be communicated. While not all submitted ideas will be executed upon, community feedback will play a key role in influencing which ideas are and when they will be implemented.

For more information and upcoming events, please visit our HCL Connections page.

Files section cursor

In the "Files" section, when moving the cursor over "All Community Files" instead of turning into a pointer as it does with "Community Folders", it becomes a text cursor (bracket). Same for "Trash".

While not impossible to use, users who are not familiar with the intricacies of it find it misleading and confusing, and this is especially bad if we include clients/partners in our external communities.

    Hi,

I tried this on two different Connections environments on my end and I do not see this behaviour. The cursor when hovering over "All Community Files" or any of the other menu entries does not change and remains in its correct cursor shape.

I don't think this is necessarily a Connections-out-of-the-box behaviour and maybe something that was introduced with a custom CSS style-sheet maybe?
