Welcome to the HCL Connections Product Ideas Lab! The place where you can submit product ideas and enhancement request. We encourage you to participate by voting on, commenting on, and creating new ideas. All new ideas will be evaluated by the HCL Product Management & Engineering teams, and the next steps will be communicated. While not all submitted ideas will be executed upon, community feedback will play a key role in influencing which ideas are and when they will be implemented.
For more information and upcoming events, please visit our HCL Connections page.
@ Rene Schimmer yes printing the rendered PDF and not the web page would be the best and correct solution. Beside cutting off the page printing footer and header could also cause some more trouble for the print result especially if the document is bigger than just one page.
Assuming this is in the document viewer, a simple way to avoid this is to minimize the right column as this is what takes up the additional spae on the right.
Once done you can print the browser page without it being cut off on the right.
But this is not printing the actual PDF but the web page rendition from the browser print dialog including the Connections Viewer header and footer plus the main content coming from the PDF.
So the better way here would be to introduce a "Print" button that only renders the PDF in the print dialog, correct?
Of course we also need this!
Seems more like a bugfix than a feature request...
