HCL Connections Ideas Portal

Welcome to the HCL Connections Product Ideas Lab! The place where you can submit product ideas and enhancement request. We encourage you to participate by voting on, commenting on, and creating new ideas. All new ideas will be evaluated by the HCL Product Management & Engineering teams, and the next steps will be communicated. While not all submitted ideas will be executed upon, community feedback will play a key role in influencing which ideas are and when they will be implemented.

SSO configuration with HCL Connections Outlook Addin

We would like to achieve SSO with the Outlook Addin at start up the native Outlook client or Outlook Web Access (OWA).
The environment is configured and running successfully with SSO via SPNEGO (and of course LTPA), so when a user logs on to the Windows machine and opens Connections in a browser, the user is automatically logged on via SPNEGO SSO.
The same is true, if a user opens up Outlook Web Access in a browser. The user is automatically logged on via SNPEGO SSO.
If the Connections Outlook Addin is enabled in OWA, the expectation is that the Addin does not require any authentification as SPNEGO SSO is in place.
Unfortunately this is not the case. The Connections Outlook Addin still requires authentication !

The expectation is that Outlook Addin enabled in OWA or native application of Outlooks should not ask for authentication to get in Connections as SPNEGO SSO is configured.
