Welcome to the HCL Connections Product Ideas Lab! The place where you can submit product ideas and enhancement request. We encourage you to participate by voting on, commenting on, and creating new ideas. Add ability to create a Folder Link to a Community Folder inside Activities

Behavior when attempting to Create a Folder Link vs Creating a File Link are different. Folder Link does not give the option to link a folder that is contained within the same Community. Files Link does allow for linking of file contained within same Community

STEPS:

Open or create a Community
Add 2 files to this Community (Directly, not from personal files)
Add a Folder to this Community (directly to the Community, not shared from personal files or folders)
Create an Activity in the same Community
GO to create an Entry
Under Add File select Link Folder, Notice the options. It only allows you to link to a folder in your personal Files Application, does not allow for a link to the Folder in the Community
Now go to Add File--> Link to File and you will see that this give the option to like a file from within the Community.

This option is not available when attempting to Link Folder.  The behavior should be consistent and it should allow for a folder in a Community to be linked to an Activity in the same Community
