Spreadsheet to automatically filter all data including empty spaces in between data

When you automatically filter data in a column, it would only filter all the data until the first blank space of the column. This behavior is different from openoffice where it can filter all data even if there are blank spaces in between. (WPS Spreadsheets(12.2.0.21931)). This feature can be helpful in filtering a table that has a large amount of data. Can we add this feature to Connections docs spreadsheets?
