Welcome to the HCL Connections Product Ideas Lab! The place where you can submit product ideas and enhancement request. We encourage you to participate by voting on, commenting on, and creating new ideas. All new ideas will be evaluated by the HCL Product Management & Engineering teams, and the next steps will be communicated. While not all submitted ideas will be executed upon, community feedback will play a key role in influencing which ideas are and when they will be implemented.
For more information and upcoming events, please visit our HCL Connections page.
We also like a list of communities per user.
We have the "CAT" Tool from TimeToAct in our connections enviroment but an admin tool should always be included in connections or in every complex application. The user needs a tool to configure his app.
Absolutely I agree this
"AdminTool" should be included into applications.
You can do all these things with the "Connections Administration Toolkit" from TIMETOACT:
https://connections-apps.com/product/connections-administration-toolkit-cat/
This has been requested by ALL my customers, they can not understand how the solution does not have at least the list of all the Communities with their owner, participants and las update date.
Important: please make this available for "Connection Cloud" users too!
Similarly, many clients would like to be able to see just a little more user information directly from the Admin > User pages than just subscriptions, name and email address. A page with data such as:
- Date the account was provisioned, and then activated.
- Last login date (an ability to access login history over time would be nice too).
- Last password change date.
- Quota usage
Other info that would be nice to drill down into from Admin user page:
- Guests invited.
- List of owned objects.
DEFINITELY - Difficult to manage and locate who owns without a deep dive! Console could provide simple reporting who owners are, what are sub versus parent, public, private, moderated
There are Business Partner solutions that can do much or all of this. We do understand that the request is to provide these capabilities natively in Connections and will take that under consideration.
