Welcome to the HCL Connections Product Ideas Lab! The place where you can submit product ideas and enhancement request. We encourage you to participate by voting on, commenting on, and creating new ideas. All new ideas will be evaluated by the HCL Product Management & Engineering teams, and the next steps will be communicated. While not all submitted ideas will be executed upon, community feedback will play a key role in influencing which ideas are and when they will be implemented.
For more information and upcoming events, please visit our HCL Connections page.
Last year you said that PINK is a journey. It began with Customizer, but since Jason Gary left IBM I have heard very little detail on what is to come. Maybe you should look at the way Domino #2025 handle its communication. Personally I would like information on the following:
The point is I felt that I am left in the dark regarding what is supposed to be a PINK journey. I only know that it has started, but no idea how long it is going to take and where is the ending.
May we know why this is marked as "Low likehood of delivery" ? I thought that the roadmap is docker and not WAS ? That would mean a very high possibility of implementing this ideas, right ?

With the transfer to HCL completed, can we please get more public information about the future roadmap ? I know that on the recent interview Richard alluded to a Connection 6.5 this year and Connections 7 next year but there is literally no information on what is the underlying architecture and what feature will be available.

Any news here?
And please don't point to CR3 or 6.0.0.6, the standalone Elasticsearch is the opposite of a sign to the pink journey.
Very important. Companies which started the pink journey need double to three time the hardware of former deployments (some of it temporarily for "legacy websphere" ) so they need a sign that the journey is still going on and if there is a point in time when they can shutdown WebSphere.
Fully agree !
We hear you! We are working on a new Connections community site to increase visibility into our roadmap and help foster engagement between IBM and our customers and Business Partners. Stay tuned!
