Add possibility edit status updates

Status updates cannot be edited. E.g. typos cannot be corrected an entry must be deleted an recreated. Which is annoying for the author and clutters the feed of followers.

    Please add this functionality. It's more like other social media if you can edit it. People do want this.

    I would like to see the possibility to edit my status updates. Sometimes you have a typo and can not coorect it because of the missing edit button. Reposting is like spamming :(

    Possible workaround: Delete and re-post

    Please add this functionality -  currently the only way to make changes to a status is to delete it and then re-post it - this seems counter-intuitive. Thank you
