Create Templates for Wiki Pages

I would appreciate the possibility to create templates for wiki pages. For documentation, for example, it would be great to have a uniform layout with the same elements in the same place on every page. Here the visitor would find his way around much easier and the author could create content faster without having to worry about styling.

    @Adam Gartenberg: The new template capability in Connections 7 is about "Community Template" (which might include a pre-defined wiki with some wiki pages). However, this idea is for an existing wiki and when you create a new wiki page ... to create this new wiki page from a template instead of starting with a blank page.

    The new template capabilities that shipped with Connections 7 include the ability to bring Wiki content forward as part of the template.

    Sometimes it would also help if it was possible to copy wiki-pages via a button.

    Templates for more content objects needed. E.g. (ideation) blogs, forums, wikis, etc.

    Ik totally agree. The only way I know (and use) to get a uniform layout is to use a MS Word-template (in my case with tables in it). I paste (with formatting) the MS Word content into the wiki-page. Cumbersome!

    The IBM Connections Extension Toolkit (available from IBM ICS Services) does offer this capability today.

    I agree. It would be even better to enable style templates for all contents in Connections. Otherwise i will always have to manually set up the styling of my Blog/Wiki/etc.
