Increase number of custom profile fields limit (IBM Connections Cloud)

We are using custom fields on profiles (IBM Help: Customizing your organization > Updating user profiles). Currently we use 8 of them and there is a limit of 10 custom fields.
Can this limit be extended?  On-prem you do not have a limitation and you could create as many profile files as you like, in the IBM Connections Cloud 10 custom profile fields is a low limit and we have the risk running out of fields.

Background:
We are also an IBM Connections Engagement Center customer and during the project we have learnt that whenever ICEC stores user specific data in a performant manner a custom profile field is required. Therefore we see the risk that we reach the current limit of 10 fields rather soon.

As the user profile should be the "business card" of the users, so storing "technical data" as the stage in an onboarding process is something that should be hidden. E.g. it would be great if a customer can add more than 10 custom filed and specify if the field is visible, hidden, read-only or editable.
