Enhancement request: Improvement of search quality - Expression variations of Katakana characters of Japanese language

This is enhancement request from Yachiyo Industry who is using Connections Social Cloud and ICEC on Cloud.

Kata-kana characters of Japanese language has some expression variations.

For example, a word "A project manager" has 8 expression variations in Japanese language like an attachment file.

- Kata-kana character has half-wide characters and full-wide characters.

- When some words are concatenated, some people concat words with dot of bullet point, some people concat words without dot of bullet point.
- Mainly, in the case of English words ending in "er" like manager, some people add a sign of long tone at the end of Kata-kana words, but some people don't.

These expressions variations are mixed in a lot of existing documents of the customer.

Connections Cloud search engine doesn't support these variation expression of Kata-kana characters so far. So users feels Connections Cloud search inconvenient.

The Yachiyo Industry is requesting us that Connections Cloud search engine supports these expression variations of Kata-kana characters.

Regardless of which expression variations a user uses, search engine of Connections Cloud should hit all expression variations.
