Welcome to the HCL Connections Product Ideas Lab! The place where you can submit product ideas and enhancement request. We encourage you to participate by voting on, commenting on, and creating new ideas. All new ideas will be evaluated by the HCL Product Management & Engineering teams, and the next steps will be communicated. Limit access for global moderator only via moderation application

In the current releases of IBM Connections,  global moderators are allowed to access all communities (public and private). If a global moderator is not member of a specific community, he might not be able to access dedicated community applications (e.g. files, forums), but has at least access to community overview page. The overview page already lists some content which has been created in the community. This is  not acceptable from security point of view.

 

The access to community content for the purpose of content moderation has to be limited only via the moderation application, if the global moderator is not member of the community.
