HCL Connections Ideas Portal

Welcome to the HCL Connections Product Ideas Lab! The place where you can submit product ideas and enhancement request. We encourage you to participate by voting on, commenting on, and creating new ideas. All new ideas will be evaluated by the HCL Product Management & Engineering teams, and the next steps will be communicated. While not all submitted ideas will be executed upon, community feedback will play a key role in influencing which ideas are and when they will be implemented.

Embed video in Wiki page; Blog or Forum (Insert MP4 option for Rich Text Editor)

Requesting capability to embed internally or externally sourced video content into a Wiki page, Blog or Forum using the RTE.
Currently, RTE allows user to source a web page containing video content by using the iFrame tag or Flash tag. However, the customer only wants to embed the actual video content and avoid including the entire frame in their posted content.
It would be beneficial to include a "Insert MP4" option for RTE to allow users to embed mp4 video content within a Wiki page, Blog, or Forum topic.

Video blog is a great idea to spread information inside the organization, but to add a video in a Blog Post is something that needs a lot of technical experience. This idea will help all end user.

Yep - irritating, as you describe. Not modern. Need Textbox.io (or TinyMCE)
