Welcome to the HCL Connections Product Ideas Lab! The place where you can submit product ideas and enhancement request. We encourage you to participate by voting on, commenting on, and creating new ideas. Easy way to find free time

Tools like Doodle are well used. I think that a Doodle like application for Communities can be very helpful. Its possible to build this as a survey, but its not for a normal user. I suggest an easy application / widget for Communities.


Importent are following points (my point of view)

  • Allow multiple requests (like multiple Activities, Ideation Blogs)
  • Easy selection of "open for all members" or "select members"
  • Templates like:
    • date and time frame per hours
    • date frame and choice only antemeridian or post meridiem
    • every weekday and time frame per hours
    • every weekday and choice only antemeridian or post meridiem
  • "Create an ics-File" or "Export to Calendar" function
  • Attach files

    This is a good idea, and it should be possible to integrate a 3rd party tool to do this, but we do not have plans at this time to add this functionality to Connections.
