Welcome to the HCL Connections Product Ideas Lab! The place where you can submit product ideas and enhancement request. We encourage you to participate by voting on, commenting on, and creating new ideas. All new ideas will be evaluated by the HCL Product Management & Engineering teams, and the next steps will be communicated. While not all submitted ideas will be executed upon, community feedback will play a key role in influencing which ideas are and when they will be implemented.
For more information and upcoming events, please visit our HCL Connections page.
This is something I use on a daily basis, why are we killing an application IBMers depend on
But if i look at the whole bunch of communities then we need some kind of organisor. So everyone can organize by him self and summarzie his communities
this is an amazing tool! It helps so many people and it would be sad for it to go!
Please keep the tool.
Please, please bring back community viewer. Trying to find and access communities is painful and taking so much time. I could answer questions easily and quickly with Community Viewer, now it takes me 10-20 minutes to find the right community. I don't have time for that.
Such sad news that Community viewer is going sunset. I love this app, makes my file easier.
This is one of the best tools and I found it very useful to organize the communities i am part of/track.. What is the rationale to sunset this?
I am not sure this community viewer getting sunset...It helps me me to manage communities
quickly...
Would you be able to make the source code available for someone else to look at so we can try to make something similar?? Thanks: esparzab@us.ibm.com
Why do we remove a tool which is used daily? What is wrong? Why? Without an alternative? #donotunderstandit
Over the years, the community viewer has saved me time working with the diverse set of communities required to support my daily activities. A good example of simplicity and quickly adding value to the actual user.
I have been using the Community Viewer for at least 4 years. It has been invaluable to me in my job and has saved me so many hours since it helps me navigate to exactly the IBM Communities that are important to my work. We do need this type of tool so that our productivity stays at a high level.
Navigating through the communities without Community Viewer is a nightmare. A large amount of communities are underutilized, it is going to be even worse now.
This is something I use on a daily basis, why are we killing an application IBMers depend on?
A big shock: again (!) a tool that really works and provides real value to me is taken off. Who decides those things? "We have listened to you and this is what you don't want so we do it anyway". Disappointed.
I have found Community Viewer invaluable to manage the communities that I am part of. Really disappointed to see it being retired, it will be sorely missed.
I'm not sure why Community Viewer is being sunset. It has been a very useful tool to navigate communities and stay organized while keeping most visited communities prioritized at the top of my viewer. If we are going to sunset something, can we create a better replacement first? I have not found a better way to view my communities yet. I guess will have to create a wiki of my community links. So I don't have to weed thru 100's communities find what I'm looking for.
No clue why one of the best tools in IBM will be sunsetted. Without the Community Viewer we all will waste a lot of time finding the right source. It's really a pity that this small but extremely effective tool will be gone soon.
Why do we decide to sunset any tools which actually enhance IBM-er productivity and effectiveness. Community Viewer is a simple everyday tool which saves me hours of trawling and searching across the year. It is a HIUGE pity that it is being sunset without any substitute or enhancement. It would be a valuable permanently integrated addition to the Connections offering!
I'm member in about 300 Communities. Community viewer helps me manage my communities. With grid view I'm quickly at the most important ones and list view lets me search easily for all others. I also like the leave community feature.
