Have Language Selector preference in IBM Connections to be "honored" by IBM Docs.

Would like to have the possibility, to control the language for IBM Docs the same way as the Connections, either directly (same language as selected in Connections) or manually by button.

Connections has this option:
Enabling users to set a language preference:
https://www.ibm.com/support/knowledgecenter/en/SSYGQH_6.0.0/admin/admin/t_admin_common_enable_lang_change.html

but it is not consistent with IBM DOCS. The Language Selector preference in IBM Connections is not "honored" by IBM Docs.
