Welcome to the HCL Connections Product Ideas Lab! The place where you can submit product ideas and enhancement request. We encourage you to participate by voting on, commenting on, and creating new ideas. All new ideas will be evaluated by the HCL Product Management & Engineering teams, and the next steps will be communicated. While not all submitted ideas will be executed upon, community feedback will play a key role in influencing which ideas are and when they will be implemented.

    Automated file compression

    Especially for media files - all uploads should automatically be optimized to minimize memory impact.

    Extend "Flag for inappropriate use" to Status Updates, Wikis, Activities, etc.

    Currently this is only available on Files, Forums and Blogs - though not consistent. Should be available and consistent for all ways of producing content - including Profiles.

    Linux client support to mount IBM Connections cloud storage

    It should be possible to mount the cloud files as a mount point on Linux desktops, allowing to seamlessly open and save cloud files from any Linux desktop.

    Survey Sumission to trigger notification or/and maiil

    If a users submits a filled in survey in a community it shall trigger a notification to the community owner/survey author and appear in the community activity stream.

    Video in a powerpoint cannot be read with the preview
