Welcome to the HCL Connections Product Ideas Lab! The place where you can submit product ideas and enhancement request. We encourage you to participate by voting on, commenting on, and creating new ideas. All new ideas will be evaluated by the HCL Product Management & Engineering teams, and the next steps will be communicated. While not all submitted ideas will be executed upon, community feedback will play a key role in influencing which ideas are and when they will be implemented.

Video player improvement

It would be great to have a video player has a play speed controller. Generally, the way to integrate and play videos and upload e.g. easily from mobile really needs to be looked at.

Convert community file to personal file

Currently it is possible to convert a personal file to a community file, but not yet the other way around

Newly created folders are not immediately available in Folders widget in Highlights app from Community.

Both the Files and the Forums XCC widget should display content changes immediately. Currently, only owners see changes directly in the Widget when a new file or forum post is created. Members see the change only after 15 minutes.
