Updates from sub-communities should also be visible in parent community widgets

As of today, if I create a sub-community then the recent updates from various components of the sub-community is only visible on the home page of the sub-community.

The function should be that Owner can decide if he wants the updates from the sub-community(s) also visible on the home page of the parent community. Of course this should take care of the access permission of the user.

This is required as the sub-community is mainly created to categorize the contents from a project/ topic but still community would like to know the recent updates without going into the individual sub-commuities
