Activity notification should be on off switchable

​With creation of an activity every member will be informed about it. That's OK and reasonable. But later with every single change for example of the wording or some detail, again every member of the activity will get mail notification. That means "flooding" and is absolute not necessary and disturbing!

With a simple checkbox for the choice: on/of notification this would be controllable.
The acceptance for the tool "Activities" would surely increase.
