Welcome to the HCL Connections Product Ideas Lab! The place where you can submit product ideas and enhancement request. We encourage you to participate by voting on, commenting on, and creating new ideas. All new ideas will be evaluated by the HCL Product Management & Engineering teams, and the next steps will be communicated. While not all submitted ideas will be executed upon, community feedback will play a key role in influencing which ideas are and when they will be implemented.

Share by link also for anonymous users

A new feature share-by-link introduced in 6.0 CR4 still requires users (who receive the link) to log in in Connections to be able to access the shared file. However, users expect that the links should work for everybody, i.e. for all anonymous users who have got the link - like in other (competing) tools.

Please extend this functionality (while considering necessary security constrains) in order that administrators can enable share-by-link for anonymous users for certain communities or users.
