HCL Connections Ideas Portal

Welcome to the HCL Connections Product Ideas Lab! The place where you can submit product ideas and enhancement request. We encourage you to participate by voting on, commenting on, and creating new ideas. All new ideas will be evaluated by the HCL Product Management & Engineering teams, and the next steps will be communicated. While not all submitted ideas will be executed upon, community feedback will play a key role in influencing which ideas are and when they will be implemented.

For more information and upcoming events, please visit our HCL Connections page.

Using IBM Docs as a previewer for community files in wiki pages iframes

We want to publish previews on documents from the files library in some guideline-style wiki pages. Therefore we used the ibm docs preview URL as an iframe src URL in a wiki page. This works fine.
Now we encounter additional feature request from our users:
  1. hide the X symbol in the most right position to keep the user inside the preview
  2. hide the comments bar by URL parameter
  3. do not show the community behind the preview in the transparent parts of the Docs UI
  4. hide the upload button to protect others from using it while previewing
