Implement a traffic light labelling system in order to prioritize new content at first sight

In a very dynamic company environment with ever-changing internal communication, the amount of new information for some employees is hard to grasp all at once on a daily basis. Some content is absolutely crucial for business operations whereas some news are somewhat more in the catogory 'nice to know'.

In order to prioritize new content, especially on the homepage, it would be ideal to have a traffic light labelling system. e.g. critical news - red label. Less importation blog entries - yellow or orange label . Good to know - green label.

I am envisioning three little bubbles in the top right corner of each preview. Is there a technical solution for this? It would be highly appreciated. Thank you

This is a very interesting idea, but unfortunately not one we expect to be able to prioritize in the near-term.

I think it's an interesting idea. I can imagine that, for example, a moderator or someone with certain rights could mark corresponding posts in ICEC as important. And these might be marked with a star or something similar and not slide down in a news widget. Maybe even time controllable. In addition to this idea, a widget that can pick up and display such marked posts might also be good.
