Initial creator of Wiki page should not recieve email notifications if the community manager changed

f an user creates a Wiki page, he/ she is the only one who receives e-mail notifications of when comments are posted or when people like the Wiki pages. 

Even if they moved on from the role — they still receive those emails as they were the ones who originally created the page, rather than their successor who now manages the community.

It seems there should be a more efficient way to do this, or perhaps an edit area on Wiki pages where you can select an owner of the community who receives the notifications of new comments or new likes on the Wiki page.
