Welcome to the HCL Connections Product Ideas Lab! The place where you can submit product ideas and enhancement request. We encourage you to participate by voting on, commenting on, and creating new ideas. All new ideas will be evaluated by the HCL Product Management & Engineering teams, and the next steps will be communicated. Change of text displayed when document can't be viewed/edited within IBM Connections

At this moment only a message with the content “no preview available for this file”  is shown.

However, it appears that the user can download the document with the options on the rightside panel (as far as permitted by his administrator).

We do like to have the message extended with information that with the download-option the content of the file can be viewed/edited with software installed on the local machine.

This way our (guest-) users are better informed and can proceed with there work without further IT support.
