Better print of wiki pages

Wiki pages do not print well (via browser), there is unwanred content in page header. Some cleanup and better css styles for media:print is needed. Please improve the product, it should be an easy task.

    Finally, this issue ("Print page" in Firefox) has been fixed !!! -> iFix LO100066 (available for Connections 6CR5 and 6.5CR1)

    This "enhancement" request is about improving print output when using the "Print page" feature on a wiki page, which prints a wiki page directly. From my experience, the print issue is reproducible with Firefox, in Chrome and Internet Explorer the print-out of "Print page" is looking much more better.

    BTW, "Print page" prints already only the wiki page, not the header or navigation.

    You mention that HCL is working on a new feature "Save to PDF". This would be an additional way how to print a wiki page, requiring an intermediate step to save the wiki page as PDF and then print the PDF.

    Is HCL development also looking in fixing the print issue with Firefox when using directly "Print page" ? I guess it would be an easy task for a developer to review/compare the differences why "Print page" behaves different in Chrome/IE (print result is ok) compared to Firefox (missing CSS styles). The add-on "Stylus" mentioned in another comment is not a working solution, as you would have to deploy the add-on to all desktops.

    We are working on bringing the "Save to PDF" capability from the former Services Asset into the next Connections version. This will create a printable PDF without the header, navigation, etc. This should address this request nicely.

    Currently I'm using custom print CSS in Stylus (Firefox add-on), but it would be great to have it embedded Connections.
