Welcome to the HCL Connections Product Ideas Lab! The place where you can submit product ideas and enhancement request. We encourage you to participate by voting on, commenting on, and creating new ideas. All new ideas will be evaluated by the HCL Product Management & Engineering teams, and the next steps will be communicated. While not all submitted ideas will be executed upon, community feedback will play a key role in influencing which ideas are and when they will be implemented.

Show number of new/changed items (updates) on the app tabs of a community

It would be nice if the interface of a community would show the number of changed/new entries in each app (Forum/blog/wiki/etc) behind that apps name in the left side app menu or in the tabs above (with horizontal layout). That way the users would know in one glance on the community home page where changes occured or what's new.

Especially for those situations when communities are set to not open by default in the overview page.
