Welcome to the HCL Connections Product Ideas Lab! The place where you can submit product ideas and enhancement request. We encourage you to participate by voting on, commenting on, and creating new ideas. All new ideas will be evaluated by the HCL Product Management & Engineering teams, and the next steps will be communicated. While not all submitted ideas will be executed upon, community feedback will play a key role in influencing which ideas are and when they will be implemented.

    Thumbnail not visible (actual mini images of uploaded files) for files (imgaes, pdf etc.), instead general mini image (of pdfs, jpeg) is visible

    When you upload a file ( inside community Library ) general icon of PDF or JEPG is visible as thumbnail, it should be actual image of uploaded file. I've tested it on several environments like Connections 6 CR5,CR4 and on 5.5 versions also.

    Show Subcommunities on the Community Overview Page

    Since CR4 there is the new Community Overview Page. But it does not show Subcommunities. Please fix this or add an option to activate this.

    Filter for Community Members

    For new employees it would be a nice feature, when you join a community that there members can be filtered by location.

    The ability to search through deleted wikis.

    When looking in the trash for deleted wikis, there is no way to search but going from page to page. It would be helpful to be able to search through the wikis, including content, in order to find the wiki more easily.

    Right-Click to open in Tab shall work on REACT based Community List UI.

    I and most users usually opens multiple Communities from Community List for fast work processing. However REACT based Community UI does not allow me to do that. Only ONE Community can be opened from the Community List!!! I can not bear it.

    Report view for all Members with last date logged on

    As we clean up a lot of our Member lists for our Connection Sites, I think it would be helpful to have a way to see if someone had not logged on in a year or more which might help me with cleaning up names on the list.

    Events with images

    In IBM Connections it should be possible to insert an image into events in the form of a file attachment or in the editor area.
