Welcome to the HCL Connections Product Ideas Lab! The place where you can submit product ideas and enhancement request. We encourage you to participate by voting on, commenting on, and creating new ideas. All new ideas will be evaluated by the HCL Product Management & Engineering teams, and the next steps will be communicated. While not all submitted ideas will be executed upon, community feedback will play a key role in influencing which ideas are and when they will be implemented.

Possibility to print any content, items, topics etc. with a print button

There should be an easy way to print single items/topics/pages in Connect, such as a single to-do-item, activity entry or blog entry. Printing via the web browser you get the whole list

Consistent Emoticon support

I would like to see automatic recognition of emoticons. So far there are only few emoticons that can be added in the rich editor. But that does not work in the comments.

Sort comments by number of recommendations

Currently comments are listed by the order of their entry. For all kinds of comments it should be possible to be sorted by different criteria as: number of recommendations, date, commentator

Ease tagging of profiles

Would be great to ease profile tagging by just clicking the tag instead of typing it ("Add tag(s) to this profile")

Display and visualize what information is new to you personally

It would to nice to see immediately what information is new to you personally. E.g.: Display all topics you have already clicked on in another style or color than non-read/ new topics (like emails in Outlook which are bold=unread and normal=read)....
